About Our Founder
Mary Asante-Asamoah is the founder of Family Business Hub and host of the Family Business Diaries podcast. With over 15 years of experience in managing her family’s business as Executive Director, she knows firsthand the challenges and rewards of working in a family legacy.
She believes that family enterprises are more than just business entities; they are fundamental pillars of stability, growth, and continuity within communities. Mary Asante-Asamoah's journey as the founder of Family Business Hub is more than a professional pursuit; it's a mission to empower and uplift family businesses in Ghana and beyond, ensuring they become enduring pillars of success within their communities.
Mary actively shares her thoughts on the intricacies of family business on LinkedIn, offering a glimpse into her wealth of knowledge and insights. Additionally, she is a speaker on panel discussions, contributing her expertise to the broader conversation surrounding the challenges and triumphs of family enterprises.
Mary is an executive MBA holder from Lancaster University and graduated with honors from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies.
She has a project management certificate and has completed various executive development programs in Strategic Management, Corporate Leadership, Corporate Planning and Budgeting, Effective HR Strategies for Business Growth, and Quality Management, among others. Mary is a member of Women in Mining Ghana, the Executive Women’s Network, and the Ahaspora Professional Network.
